How can I get my almost 5yr old daughter to stop wetting the bed?

I have a little girl she turns 5 in March and she constantly wets the bed. She has been potty trained since she was 18 months old but she will not stop wetting the bed at night. I have tried letting her sleep with and without a pull up for 2 years now and nothing works. Please help!!

You can’t just stop bed wetting. Most commonly bed wetting is hereditary. I know your frustrations because I wet the bed past age 15 and I have a son that is 4 and wets the bed almost nightly. I went to doctors, tried several different things which nothing worked. My parents chose to deal with the bed wetting by me wearing disposable diapers to bed until I was dry at night. I have done the same with my son which I have him in night-time diapers (pampers size seven, they work great). Some parents will shun the idea of an older kid wearing diapers because they believe diapers are only for babies which is not true. There is nothing that written that says diapers are only for babies. Its how you choose to deal with the situation, my family chose to deal with the issue with me wearing diapers. I have done the same with my son, he is in diapers nightly. I would put her in a diaper at night and get on with life, Its plastic underwear, not that big of deal, I turned out okay.

How do I get my three year old daughter to stop wetting the bed?

Skylar is three years old now. She has been potty trained since she was 2, but I need to know how to get her to stop wetting the bed. And advice or tricks?
Skylar’s bedtime is 7:45.

Wow a lot of people that answered expect a lot from a 3 yr old. She is asleep, she doesn’t know when she has wet, I have a 4 yr old son that still wets the bed and I have him in diapers still at night. There is no cure except to let their bodies grow and in time she will get the hang of it. Until then, keep a diaper on her at night. I know how it is also because I was a bed wetter and wore diapers until I was dry. Limit the drinks about an hour before her bedtime and get the protection on her.

How do you get your son to stop wetting the bed?

My son is 10 and can’t stop wetting the bed!!!! What should i do?

First I would take him to see his doctor to eliminate any health problem that could be causing the bed wetting. Once that was eliminated, I would limit his fluid intake for a couple hours before bedtime. I would also make sure that he went to the bathroom right before bedtime. Keep bedtime calm and loving because tension can cause him to wet the bed. Do not make a huge issue out of the bed wetting because that will just cause tension and stress for him and produce more bed wetting. Good Luck! @—>—
